CJ Plast specializes in plastic profile extrusion, a process that transforms plastic into long products such as tubes, pipes or profiles. Founded in 1994 by Jacky Collignon in Loriol-sur-Drôme, the company started modestly with 6 employees in a 500 m² building. Today, it is one of France's top 5 companies in this sector, with 25,000 m² of premises.
The company stands out for the diversity of its products, mainly intended for the swimming pool, aluminum joinery and, to a lesser extent, refrigeration and motorhome industries. In 2005, CJ Plast diversified with the creation of Plastiland, a fencing business sold directly to private individuals.
2011 marks a turning point for the company, with Jacky Collignon's sons Gabriel and Frédéric taking over. They embark on a series of growth operations, including the acquisition of a site in Le Mans in 2018 to be closer to a major customer, and the purchase of an extruder in Portugal in 2023, to expand their know-how, notably with the use of environmentally-friendly materials. This material is used for applications such as pontoons and terraces.
Plastiland's development continues with the "La Clôture française" brand, sold exclusively online, which will open a 300 m² showroom by April 2025.
Despite the economic situation, the Collignon brothers remain optimistic and focused on developing production, while maintaining a stable wage policy and celebrating the company's 30th anniversary with their employees.
